Modern Slavery Statement
Our Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking
At Reworked Clothing, we are fully committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all aspects of our business. We are dedicated to ensuring that slavery and human trafficking have no place in our operations or supply chains. We expect all our suppliers and business partners to uphold these values and comply with our anti-slavery policies.
Due Diligence During the Reporting Period
Before entering into agreements with our manufacturers or suppliers, we require them to complete a compliance form. This form is designed to assess any potential risks related to modern slavery within our supply chains. It ensures that our manufacturing partners have clear ethical working practices, including anti-slavery and anti-human trafficking policies, and confirms their compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Further Steps
We recognise the complexity of managing a large network of suppliers, so we take a risk-based approach to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking do not occur within our business or supply chain.
To enhance our team’s awareness of the risks associated with modern slavery, we are in the process of developing staff training to ensure they understand how to identify and report potential concerns. This proactive approach aims to prevent any unethical practices from going unnoticed.
In the event of non-compliance, we will assess each instance on a case-by-case basis and implement tailored remedial actions as appropriate.
This statement has been approved by the Reworked Clothing Board of Directors and will be reviewed and updated on an annual basis to ensure continued alignment with best practices.
